CLASSROOM WITH AN INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD
Find the crossword (e.g. available set "Season crossword") in your TOGlic account and click to Display activity on this device button. The crossword ready for filling will appear on your screen. Only now display your screen on the interactive whiteboard and invite pupils to solve the crossword on the whiteboard.
TIP: It's up to you whether you choose a method of on-screen keyboard (results will be checked by computer) or drawing letters by hand into boxes (the rating is up to you).
If pupils can´t move the computers, dispatch on each pupil device a complete crossword and let them solve it. Your device will supply you with an overview of the pupils’ results. You can find where they make the most mistakes and focus on it.
TABLET CLASSROOM OR BYOD
Check mark the option Send single row to each pupil and distribute the activity. Only 1 row out of the crossword will get displayed on each pupil device and the crossword gets a new charge. Children must not only fill in the correct name of the item in the picture, but also create the crossword solution from the highlighted letters.
You can also send the crossword as a homework - via e-mail (just send a link to page with your crossword) or embed it on your own pages (e.g. blog). Click the Link to display activity button and get the link or the HTML code for sharing the crossword. Shared crossword is interactive:
